For our little patients who are still growing and developing, there are mobile braces. Monomaksilarni (active plates) or for both jaws -bimaksilarni (activator, bionator). Patients can place and remove these themselves. With this type of therapy, it is extremely important that the child is willing to wear a mobile prosthesis. In order for the therapy to be successful, prostheses should be worn for around 14-16 hours a day. Severe deformities cannot be corrected using mobile prostheses. Fixed braces are required for this. Mobile prostheses are only the first step in therapy, which we usually use with children and adolescents. You should always complete the process later with fixed braces.
